Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, broad flat resting surface, undersurface shallowly carved out of flat bottom. Body rises at ca. 30 degrees in series of 4 wheelmade steps to ca. H00.03, then continues smoothly with slight outward flare to oblique tapered lip. On interior, narrow rim trimmed back from body wall thickness.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and overlapping exterior. Sgraffito decoration on interior: "6" on floor, 2 circumference grooves on upper body, one possible wavy line on rim. Yellow glaze, becoming brown where thick on rim, on interior and overlapping lip.
Writing:   graffito. Possible graffito on exterior body: single line, then group of three.
Material:   Fine clay fired tan at surface to pinkish tan at core with scattered fine, coarse white inclusions, at least one coarse red.
Munsell Color:   Between 7.5YR 6/4 and 10YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile and foot; nearly half lower half of body, 1/8 lip.
