Description:   Bowl with widely flaring ring foot, rounded resting surface, flat undersurface, short stem; hemispherical body, tapered vertical lip.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and overlapping lip. Coarse sgraffito tondo with horse (?) to rt. Round eye with trailing outline, arc above; diagonal slashes for mane; exaggerated chest, short legs; missing hindquarter; double arcs in field to rt. Stippled ground. Border of groups of parallel arcs, as if string wrapped around a band. Clear to pale yelwlow glaze on interior.
Material:   Moderately fine tan clay with numerous tiny white, black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile, 9/10 foot, 1/8 body to lip. Interior badly abraded.
