Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, rounded resting surface.Straight flaring body rising at ca. 20 degrees, turning up vertically to broad horizontal outturned rim.
Decoration:   White slip on interior, and over rim. Incised on floor, part of bird to lt., preserving breast and 2 clawed legs; rows of scribbles on breast. Floral spray to lt. Clear glaze over slip, becoming pale yellow on floor.
Material:   Fine tan clay with abundant tiny red, black, fewer white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/3 to pinker
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile, nearly half plate.
