Decoration: | Impressed on floor: (CHM:) 2 rampant girffins in heraldic opposition turn heads in to center with spray between; also filler behind bodies; barred border. Vertical splashes of red underpaint on upper body. Yellow green glaze over interior, and most of exterior to above foot. | |
Material: | Hard well-compacted clay fired light yellow-buffat surface to gray-white core with dense admixtureof tiny black inclusions, fewer red. | |
