Description:   Bowl with vertical ring foot, flaring at base, flat resting surface, convex undersurface. Body flaring at ca. 35-40 degrees.
Decoration:   Impressed on floor: (CHM:) 2 rampant girffins in heraldic opposition turn heads in to center with spray between; also filler behind bodies; barred border. Vertical splashes of red underpaint on upper body. Yellow green glaze over interior, and most of exterior to above foot.
Material:   Hard well-compacted clay fired light yellow-buffat surface to gray-white core with dense admixtureof tiny black inclusions, fewer red.
Munsell Color:   Ca. 2.5Y 7.5/3 surface
Condition:   Fragment. Seven joining frgts., ca. 1/3 foot, half floor, 1/4 lower body.
