Description:   Chafing dish with straight flaring upper body, ending in flat thick lip, with horizontal flange set ca. 00.012 m. below lip. Scar of stand at lower break.
Decoration:   "Brown" glaze on interior, drips on exterior.
Material:   Hard-fired clay, fired dull red to gray-black with frequent white, black inclusions, voids. Clay fired red out, gray-black in as well as on surface.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 2.5Y 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Five joining frgts., full profile of bowl to rim, broken at attachment to stand; ca. 1/6 circumference.
