Description:   Stand has flaring foot with rounded lip and offset by flange inside. Conical, outwardly concave stand attaches at base of dish. Wall of dish flares to inwardly thickened rim with bevelled rim. Rim offset by flange for lid inside. Wheel-ridged interior with flattened bottom. Vertical loop handle attaches to base stand above foot. Inverted triangular firing port sliced into stand wall and smoothed against base of bowl. Circular ventilation hole 0.02 in diameter punched through wall of stand opposite firing port.
Decoration:   Dark matt-brown slip (5YR 5/1 gray) dribbled down exterior. Olive yellow glaze appearing olive brown over fabric on interior to inside edge of lip. Spots of glaze on lip and dabs inside foot.
Material:   Medium hard fired, pink (Munshell 7.5 YR 7/4) clay with black and white inclusions. Smooth conchoidal break.

Condition:   Complete profile. Three large frgts., preserving about one half of vessel to its full height including all of base, 1/8 of body and rim and the stub of one handle. Partially restored
