Description:   Pitcher with indented conical base with small central button, squat ovoid body, vertical strap handle, straight neck with flaring trefoil rim. Similar to C-1973-252 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 214), C-1936-1674, and C-1937-2331.
Decoration:   Two grooves on handle, double groove at mid-neck and two at base of rim. Raised band around inner edge of rim.
Material:   Light red fabric (fired gray on exterior) with medium and small white angular inclusions, flecks of mica on surface.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Several joining frgts., preserving entire rim and neck, handle, some body frgts., and 1/2 base. Heavily RIP.
Period:   1 st c. A.C.
Chronology:   first to third quarter 1st c. CE, based on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
