Description:   Cup with convex body rising to vertical rim, in so far as preserved.
Decoration:   Broad figure zone with front 3/4 of avian, to rt. Tiny head with large, incised eye, short neck with added white stripe on belly, purple stripe down back, behind which edge of tail feathers. At rt. break edge of 2nd animal (?) Above, broad black band on base of rim, with purple stripe. Interior, lustrous black glaze. Background possibly slipped.
Material:   Fine hard-fired light red-brown clay with at least one coarse white and fine sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving body; broken all around.
