Description:   Vessel with flaring ring foot with slightly convex undersurface. Center medallion concave. Similar to C-1937-40 and C-1935-143.
Decoration:   Foot undecorated white clay, some green glaze dripped on foot. Center medalion green glaze with impressed design with cup (?) and five rays (?). Impression very faded.
Material:   Coarse white clay with rare medium, platy rounded, brown inclusions, with fine rare, platy angular voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/1 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving entire foot, center medallion.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
