Description:   Plate with low vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurfaces. Nearly horizontal body with convex profile.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. In center, four-pointed star, over which interlocking quatrefoil of loops. Large bird (peacock) framing this, facing to left; with underbelly, leg and possibly neck or tail. Pale yellow glaze on interior, green glaze on exterior.
Material:   Moderately coarse light to darker red, with numerous fine red and white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Yellower than 2.5YR 6/6 to 2.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving all foot, lower body; glaze and slip partially worn away.
