Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting surface, nippled undersurface. Straight flaring body rising at 30 degrees to inward thickened rim, continuing flare of body, but articulated on interior, with round lip. Upper surface flat, raised above floor.
Decoration:   White slip on interior (largely gone), incised decoration: 5 concentric rings in center, with compass point. 3 medallions in a circle on body, separated by interlace panels; row of crosshatches on rim; Brown smears, dark yellow glaze on interior and overlapping lip.
Material:   Coarse red clay with dense admixture of fine red, sparkling inclusions, some white. Fracture rough.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 2.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile; 4 frgts., either joining, or assembled in plaster; not clear. As assembled, preserves nearly half plate; surface badly scratched.
