Description:   Plate with shallow body rising at 30 degrees, turning up obliquely to outward thickened flat rim, and broad squared lip.
Decoration:   White slip inside and over rim. Inside, band of overlapping arcs carelessly drawn, filled with and surrounded by small dots. Bars on rim. Pale yellow glaze in, overfired and vitrified, darker glaze out. Similar to C-1936-816 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 612).
Material:   Moderately fine pinkish-buff to tan clay with few small and medium rounded spherical gray inclusions, and frequent small rounded spherical and angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (surface) 5YR 7/4 (core)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., upper body and rim, ca. 1/7 circumference; glaze peeling.
