Description:   Platter with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface. Straight flaring body rising at 30 degrees to squared lip.
Decoration:   White slip thickly applied inside and over lip, possibly originally a thin wash over all of exterior. On floor, medallion of floral sprays on imbricate ground, 2 thin circumference lines; band of incised bars broken by medallions with palmette (?) - only half of one preserved; below lip, band of incised bars between double framing lines. Clear to pale yellow glaze over slip.
Material:   Moderately fine red clay with frequent fine red, black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Eight joining frgts., complete profile except for undersurface; ca. 1/6 foot, nearly half circumference of upper body, ca. 1/4 lip.
