Description:   Plate with very low vertical ring foot, flat resting surface and undersurface. Wide-flaring body rising at 20 degrees or less.
Decoration:   White slip, thinly applied out, and in. Large black spiraliform pattern covering floor and lower body. Green glaze inside. Similar to C 1938 101.
Writing:   graffito. Part of graffito on undersurface: backward N ?
Material:   Moderately fine light red clay with rare small and very large subrounded spherical and tabular white inclusions, and few angular platy and tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving ca. 1/4 foot, floor, lower body.
