Description:   Bowl with heavy slightly flaring ring foot, broad flat resting surface, flat undersurface; foot pierced with two holes for suspension placed 0.036 m. apart. Deep convex body.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. Incised are a pair (?) of heraldic birds; of lt. bird, headless body, part of wing, tail, tops of legs, striding rt.; of rt. one, belly. Bellies have rows of large scalesalternating with plain stripes, continuing onto wings; brown dots on both, and on legs. Missing final glaze.
Material:   Moderately fine clay salmon to buff core with moderate amount of red inclusions, fewer tiny white, voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining frgts., all of foot except for a wedge, most of body profile but small part of whole. Glaze missing.
