Description:   Bowl with low disk foot with flaring profile, flat resting surface, curving into flat undersurface. Deep body rising at ca. 60 degrees with slight convex profile to fine lip. Bowl not quite circular.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor: medallion with rinceau and palmette (?) on imbricate ground; narrow beaded band; on lower body narrow rinceau band; on upper body broad band with row of diamonds, each with small central diamond with dot, on imbricate ground between double framing lines. Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior and over lip, and possibly thinly washed over remainder of exterior.
Material:   Fine light red clay with scattered fine white, coarser red inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., complete profile except for center floor, ca. 1/3 vase; chip in lip. Rip with C-1938-488b and C-1938-488c
