Description:   Chafing dish with scar of stand on lower body of bowl; shallow ca. straight flaring body, thick round lip, horizontal flange on interior.
Decoration:   Plastic decoration: row of heads on upper body, placed upside down, with dots for eyes and gash mouths; each framed by a plastic arch with pellets and center and ends; on body below heads incised wavy line. Lustrous brown glaze inside and out.
Material:   Moderately coarse red clay with tiny white inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   Near 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts., upper body to rim, ca. 1/5 circumference.
