Description:   Large lid with very slight convex curve with sharper down curve on underside of outer break.
Decoration:   Exterior in black-figure: most of a siren in profile to lt., preserving back of head, neck, body, one leg and wing. Hair long and wavy with single lock extending to belly; wing outlined by incision, broad purple stripe with start of incised feathers; possible trace of added white on neck; to lt. an unintelligible black triangular form and line; at lower lt. break a black volute. Interior black glazed with single white and red circumference lines.
Material:   Fine reddish clay with occasional fine to coarser voids.

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken all edges.
