Description:   Kotyle with fine flaring ring foot, deep convex body with max. diam. at ca. 0.01 m. below fine lip. 2 horizontal loop handles below lip.
Decoration:   Black Figure style. One horizontal glazed line below the lip and vertical wavy lines between handles. Animal frieze bordered by two glazed lines: one lion, r., forepart of lion (missing the rear section), r., panther, r. Applied purple paint on forehead, neck, chest, ribs, belly and haunch of panther and on mane, chest, ribs, belly and haunch of lions. Filling ornament: unincised heavy crosses and blobs. Thin, widely spaced rays at base. Edges of ring foot painted; resting surface reserved; undersurface reserved with two concentric bands. Interior painted solid except for a reserved line at lip. Handle reserved except a horizontal line. Heavy slapdash incisions, careless and disproportional drawing.
Material:   Pinkish buff clay. Brownish black paint and applied purple.
Munsell Color:   from 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown) to 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink)
Condition:   Missing parts. Numerous joining frgts., preserving complete profile, both handles; missing ca. 1/4 foot, parts of body, ca. 1/4 lip RIP
