Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and concave undersurface, with moulded exterior in two degrees; narrow lower with convex sloping side ending in beveled edge, upper medium-thick beveled ridge articulated from lower by shallow groove. Very low concave stem connected to foot by curve. Wide body with convex lower and concave upper, flaring out widely to everted tapered lip. Vertical strap handle with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with two horizontal groove bands at upper handle attachment level. Inscribed string of necklace with dangling ribbon from both ends on both faces. Black glaze all over. White paint on beads of necklace .
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare fine black, red and sparkling inclusions. Rare fine to small voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, stem, 2/3 body, 1/2 lip, 1 handle. Black glaze well preserved; fugitive white paint on beads of necklace .
