Description:   Broad kotyle with incurving sides at rim, high, large foot.
Decoration:   Black-figure decoration. Two horizontal lines at lip; animal frieze: on each side, one siren with spread wings flanked by two sphynxes. Below figured zone broad black and purple band; very short, thin, closely-spaced rays. Filling ornament: rare unincised blobs and dots, some irregular rosette with incisions. Interior fully glazed except for two reserved bands below lip. Edges of foot painted; resting surface reserved; undersurface with four concentric lines around central dot.
Material:   Buff pinkish clay with black paint and applied red.
Munsell Color:   from 10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown) to 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete profile. One intact fragment preserving one-third of rim, one handle, one side. Foot preserved.
