Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with moulded exterior in two degrees; wide lower with convex sloping side ending in tapered edge, upper medium-thin ridge with square profile articulated from lower by shallow groove. Short conical stem articulated from foot by angle. Tall body with convex lower and slightly concave upper flaring out to everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with three sets of horizontal groove bands, one at level of upper handle attachment, one step between level of two handle attachments, other double band at level of lower handle attachment. Black glaze all over. White added paint decoration of necklace with ribbon hanging from ends. Beads of necklace in shape of commas.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine red, black, and sparkling inclusions
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, stem, most of body and lip, both handles. Black glaze worn.
