Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with moulded exterior in two degrees; narrow lower with convex sloping side ending in beveled edge, upper high ridge with square profile articulated from lower by shallow groove. Conical stem connected to foot by curve. Tall body with convex lower and concave upper, flaring out to everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with one horizontal groove band at level between two handle attachments. Black glaze all over. Added white paint decoration of necklace on both sides.
Material:   Fine yellow clay with rare fine black, red, and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/6 (yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving most of foot, stem, 3/4 body, 1/2 lip, 1/2 handles with bottom of one missing. Black glaze and white paint worn.
