Decoration: | Medallion is surrounded by at least one circle. A ircle around the lower part of the bowl encloses the medallion and a circle of large pellets. four groups of concentric semi-circles are dependant from the rim zone, within each of the central of which is a star. Between the semi-circular groups are large pellets. A double band of stamped leaf and rosette (?) designs decorate the rim zone. All the stamps are well worn except the pellets around the bottom. Decoration reminiscent of macedonian shield design. | |
