Description:   Pottery Typ: 26 Relief Ware Moulded relief bowl of conical form with a flat bottom and a wheelmade rim thickened slightly at lip.
Decoration:   Medallion is surrounded by at least one circle. A ircle around the lower part of the bowl encloses the medallion and a circle of large pellets. four groups of concentric semi-circles are dependant from the rim zone, within each of the central of which is a star. Between the semi-circular groups are large pellets. A double band of stamped leaf and rosette (?) designs decorate the rim zone. All the stamps are well worn except the pellets around the bottom. Decoration reminiscent of macedonian shield design.
Material:   Fine buff clay, well-fired
Munsell Color:   10YR, 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile of bowl missing circa one-tenth of rim an dbody and entire medallion. Glaze is badly worn on interior and exterior.
