Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with mouded exterior in two degrees; high, wide lower with straight sloping side and single groove running around its circumference, ending in beveled edge, upper high ridge with square profile. Very short convex stem articulated from foot by angle. Tall body with convex lower and straight upper, narrowing slightly towards a small, everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with single horizontal groove band at lower handle attachment level. Black glaze all over.
Writing:   inscribed. PAYCIKRHP at handle level above groove
Material:   Fine yellow clay with rare fine black and sparkling inclusions. Rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/6 (yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, stem, 2/3 body, 1/2 lip, 2 handles except for 1 fragment of 1 handle. Black glaze worn.
