Description:   Bowl with slightly concave medallion, deep hemispherical, slightly squarish profile. Outturned rim.
Decoration:   Mold made decoration. On medallion, blank center with two raised circles; on wall, pattern of pine cone scales with central rib; on rim, double raised band followed by simple guilloche followed by single raised band. Brown lustrous glaze on exterior, olive glaze with some spotting on interior. Miltos beneath rim.
Material:   Hard and fine reddish yellow clay with rare medium red, white, and black inclusions
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 7/5 Reddish yellow
Condition:   Complete profile. 21 frgts. preserve complete bowl except 2 frgts. from calyx and rim RIP. Glaze very well preserved throughout.
