Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flattened resting surface. Shallow body, extending nearly horizontally, then turning up and out to horizontal outturned rim, round lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, coarse sgraffito bird to rt., of which head, breast preserved. Round eye with trailing line; circle projecting from breast; fan-shaped filling ornament in field behind head; single outline for medallion. On rim, coarse cross-hatching.Yellow glaze on interior, overlapping lip.
Material:   Moderately fine pinkish-tan clay with numerous fine to coarser red inclusions, tiny voids.
Munsell Color:   Ca. yellower than 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., complete profile, ca. 1/4 circumference.
