Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, roughly flattened resting surface, flat undersurface. Shallow straight flaring body turning up slightly to oblique squared lip.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and overlapping lip. Incised on interior: in center, fish to rt., with rows of projecting fins even from mouth; much of body scraped. Surrounding fish below lip is a ring of floral spikes. Yellow glaze over all, becoming yellow-brown on exterior where unslipped.
Material:   Red-brown clay with moderate amount of coarse voids, and cream-colored inclusions, fine to coarse.
Munsell Color:   Near 5YR 5/5
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete foot and profile, ca. 1/4 body, lip; single join gives 1/3 body, lip in all.
