Description:   Plate with shallow convex body.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, large medallion with part of belly and wing of bird to rt.; bit of scales for coverts, flight feathers long parallel lines, belly fringed; long legs with hatched band at top, ending in 3 long claws. Elaborate floral filling ornament; background cut back with gouge. Framing band of ovules (?) with dotted center, between plain bands. Glaze over all, fired to a grayish-green in, brighter streaked green out.
Material:   Light gray-brown clay with scattered fine to moderate-sized white inclusions, numerous fine pores.

Condition:   Fragment. Single body frgt., broken all around.
