Description:   Plate with flat floor, start of upturn at break.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, large medallion with part of bird (?), having round-tipped wing (?) outlined with beads and filled with scales having scraped centers; two feathers of tail below, each feather divided into rectangles by cross-lines; elaborate floral filling ornament. Outer border of vertical bars. Glaze fired yellow-green in, to clear out.
Material:   Light red clay with frequent fine red and few fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Between 5YR 7/6 and 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single body frgt.
