Decoration: | Dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) to very dark brown (10YR 3/1) band on undersurface, band on interior of foot and part of undersurface, and band on exterior foot. On body, a wide solid band alternates with double dotted bands twice and once with zig-zag near rim. Rim and flange covered in same glaze. Interior glazed first in wide band (third of body) near rim, reserved band, then bottom and part of sides glazed. Similar to Perachora II, no. 2429, no.2468 (kotyles); also no. 1862 (double dotted band). | |
