Description:   Kotyle pyxis with flaring ring foot, slightly convex undersurface, convex body, flanged in rim with interior flange higher than exterior. Shape as Corinth 13 no. 159-11 but decoration similar to no. 157-q.
Decoration:   Dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) to very dark brown (10YR 3/1) band on undersurface, band on interior of foot and part of undersurface, and band on exterior foot. On body, a wide solid band alternates with double dotted bands twice and once with zig-zag near rim. Rim and flange covered in same glaze. Interior glazed first in wide band (third of body) near rim, reserved band, then bottom and part of sides glazed. Similar to Perachora II, no. 2429, no.2468 (kotyles); also no. 1862 (double dotted band).
Material:   Fine pale yellow clay with few fine sparkling inclusions and rare medium to very large tabular rounded voids
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 7/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Nine joining pieces preserving third of body from rim to base. Base chipped. Missing parts of body. Peeling flaking glaze.
