Description:   Kotyle with convex body, slightly incurving rim with vertical tapered lip.
Decoration:   Glaze faded to brownish red. Frieze band with sphinx or siren with soft rounded features facing right and rosettes and blobs; incised detail on figure and rosette. Three narrow bands, row of squiggly vertical lines, and band on rim. Interior glazed overall.
Material:   Fine pale yellow clay with rare small spherical angular and rare medium tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 7/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving part of wall and rim. Flaking glaze.
