Decoration: | Fragment from an open vessel, glazed black inside the upper wall shows recurve rin (?) visible at top break. At the left a woman facing right with white face, diluted glaze eye, outlined discreetly in black with high polos (or basket?) on head. Traces of red on polos. She faces an elaborate floral ornament with two volute tendrils, black lotus and whire leaf. Fine drawing and incision. Probably Corinthian. | |
