Description:   Hydria
Decoration:   Dull black glaze. Orange slip. Spiral tendril and serrated leaf from the floral beneath the vertical handle. At the right, the hem of a garment (himation?) with two vertical stripes up the left side, and curving lines decorating the hem. Below, a horizontal band consisting of three continuous meanders to left, part of a dotted saltire, another group of three continuous meanders to left, a dotted saltire, part of a meander. Reserved inside with wheelmarks.
Material:   Fine, very pale brown, soft.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Eight joining fragments. Part of lower wall, and the stump of a horizontal handle. Surface outside rubbed and abraded.
