Description:   Underside of basin concentrically ribbed and concave; turns down vertically toward exterior to form lower part of rim. Rims broad and flat on underside; exterior surface single flat, fairly vertical plane, slighlty projected and bevelled at top, from which interior of basin slopes down in slighlty convex angle.
Decoration:   Thinly applied, rather poor quality buff slip on interior and bottom; on exterior of rim finer, pinkish-buff slip. Matt dark brown and red paint. Underside of rim covered with dark paint. On exterior of rim, narrow dark band, very near bottom, and wider one placed slightly above midway, dividing surface into two zones. Lower zone with one dark square and part of second; within squares checkboard of 9 smaller squares: central one dark, corner ones red, remaining 4 reserved. Between squares, reserved swastikas. Upper zone with egg and dart motif. Eggs consist of pendant vertical line surrounded by two pendant loops: inner red, outer dark. Darts between formed partly by eggs and partly by small triangles tangent with lower border and outer loops of eggs. Dark band around edge of basin.
Material:   Fine hard micaceous clay with grit; buff to buff-orange in color. Finer grayish clay without grit applied to outer surface of rim.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving part of rim and basin. Exterior slip worn and chipped; brown and red paint worn and chipped.
