Description:   Wide shallow bowl with gently incurving walls. Rim broad and flat, outer edge almost vertical and extending downwards with horizontal ridged decoration.
Decoration:   Decoration on rim: wide band of black matt galze on outer edge of top. Six horizontal ridges on outer (vertical) face of rim colored alternately (from bottom) brown, plain, black, brown, plain; color overlapping from upper part of ridge to groove above. Buff slip on interior of basin.
Material:   Coarse clay with grit inclusions, red-cored, buff to orange on outside.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving part of body and rim. Glaze worn and chipped.
