Description:   Aryballos with round bottom, globular body (not ovoid), short narrow vertical neck, horizontal rim with undercut lip, 1 vertical strap handle from rim to shoulder.
Decoration:   Black whirligig within 2 circumference lines on bottom, frontal crab on belly set opposite handle with incised interior details, raised pincers, flanked by dotted circle to either side, dots encicle shoulder, row of dots on exterior of rim, rays within double circumference lines on top of rim, black stripe on either edge of handle. Amyx: Lion group, unattributed.
Material:   Fine Greenish buff clay
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 7/2
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., preserving all of body and neck, 3/4 of rim, 3/4 of handle, worn glaze. Partly discolored by fire.
