Description:   Large strap handle of a very large closed coarse ware jar. Plain vertical bands of clay on each side enclose three cords. The cords are twisted up alternately to r., l. and r. to make a chevron pattern. Cf. C-75-208, T-2186 from Grave 69, North Cemetery.
Material:   Hard clay with large drak grits.
Munsell Color:   Fired 7.5YR 6/6, reddish yellow; slip 10YR 7/6, pink.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts. preserving handle, from shoulder attachment to neck attachment; one small chip missing near break.
