Decoration: | Naked female facing R. with arms to her right, holding at shoulder height piece of cloth, perhaps drying self after bath. Head down, face in profile, broken at eye, not preserving ear on hair. Back of right shoulder broken away, all of figure below waist, proper left hand missing. Possibly trace of shoulder of second figure to right of woman. All reserved areas delineated by contour lines. Faint traces of sketch lines for arms. Dilute glaze used at nostril. Interior: streaked black glaze. | |
Material: | Fine pinkish tan clay, without inclusions except occasional piece of lime. Small flecks of mica on surface. Black glaze firm and lustrous. | |
