Description:   Red-figure bell krater with nearly vertical upper boddy; offset, slightly outward thickened flaring rim, rounded lip, inner face of which makes sharp articulation with body. Groove at base of rim and lip.
Decoration:   Exterior decorated in red-figure: on body: draped male figure, to L. preserved are shoulders, most of head. Closely wrapped in himation. Hair short, falling in straggly locks. No relief contour lines. Red line on groove at base of rim. On rim laurel, to L. traces of red on groove at lip. Interior black glazed with reserved broad band on upper body, thinner red line just below lip. Miltos on all reserved areas.
Material:   fine, hard-fired clay, moderately well-compacted, with occasional coarse brown and white inclusions, fracture rough, fired pinkish-tan.
Munsell Color:   5yr 6/6 Reddish yellow.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining fragments preserve small part of upper body, rim.
