Description:   Small transport amphora with round bottom, nearly cylindrical body tapering from max. diam. near bottom to shoulder, shoulder sharply articulated from body, low sloping and curving into short wide neck, outward thickened round rim. Two small vertical handles with ridge down back, attached to upper body just below shoulder.
Decoration:   Broad wheel-ridging on body beginning ca. 0.10 m. above bottom, to base of handles ridges spaced 00.011; in handle zone deeper and closely spaced ridges, with flat broad ridges.
Material:   Sandy light red clay with common fine white and rarer black inclusions, some sparkling
Munsell Color:   Near 5YR 5/8
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., complete profile.half bottom, over half body, 3/4 shoulder, small part of rim, both handles.
