Description:   Bowl with thin low base ring, deep convex body widening to base of broad oblique outturned rim with thickened lip that rises above and below rim.
Decoration:   Two circumference grooves on rim, widely spaced groups of 3 notches on lip. Self-slipped over all.
Material:   Fine red clay with less than 2% fine white, and black rounded inclusions, rare elongated voids. Fracture rough.
Munsell Color:   Clay: slightly yellower than 2.5YR 5/8; slip: 2.5YR 5/8
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile except for center of floor. Seven joining frgts., small part of bottom, 2/5 body and rim.
