Description:   Bowl with vertical ring foot, unevenly trimmed, flat resting surface, conical undersurface. Deep body, slightly convex at bottom, becoming straight flaring, to horizontal outturned rim with triangular lip, rim slightly undercut on interior. Exterior trimmed in a band 2 cm. wide around foot.
Decoration:   Red slip on interior and overlapping lip, drip on body; over this painted decoration in white slip: large spiral on floor making 6 rotations, row of large dots on mid body, above which 4 carelessly drawn circumference lines and one dot. On rim row of large dots. Clear glaze over interior and overlapping lip.
Material:   Fine clay, fired pinkish-buff out, light red at below surface, with rare fine white inclusions, 1 = 4mm.
Munsell Color:   Surface: slightly grayer than 7.5YR 6/6 Core: slightly redder than 7.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete profile. 17 joining frgts., complete except for small part of rim. Slip and glaze missing in places.
