Description:   Fragment from upper body and rim of large, open vessel. From narrowing body, taper-rounded rim flares out ca 0.030. On interior, division between body and rim marked by slight horizontal angularity.
Decoration:   Red slip inside and out; burnished on exterior and rim interior to semi-gloss finish, horizontal striations visible. Poss. not local.
Material:   Dense, coarse and sandy red clay, fired gray at core, blending out to red surfaces. Inclusions: occasional gray to white colored clasts, coarse sand to small pebble scale (to 0.006); frequent fine flecks of light-colored mica and black mineral, prob bioti
