Description:   Large vessel, probably closed, with slight convex profile. Vertical handle, double rolled, ending at base in rectangular panel projecting from body in high relief; handle starting to curve in at upper break. Turning marks clear on interior, not smoothed away.
Decoration:   Red glazed over all, except for handle rolls: each roll or coil hatched with diagonal lines, lt. coil slanting from upper rt. to lower lt., rt. coil in opposite direction; broad red stripe down exterior and base red; interior of handle reserved. Interior of vessel unglazed.
Material:   Fine light red clay, fired to buff at surface, with less than 1% very fine black and white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Between 5YR 6/6 and 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of shoulder, base of handle and ca. half of lt. coil of handle, base of 2nd. Surface worn.
