Description:   Column krater with steep rounded shoulder and vertical neck.
Decoration:   Exterior: Black/brown glaze on neck, then thin white band above frieze of enclosed tongues (RBWBRBW...). No bordering band below. Below, one figure and portion of second figure? Outline of figures incised. Rt. to Lt.: figure, facing right, long hair, male, with forearms outstretched, possibly holding reins of horse he is riding. He wears a short sleeved chitoniskos with added purple on body. A vertical dipinto separates him from a second figure/animal behind him. A nose? is incised in central ground and hair? extends up into the tongue band. Interior black glazed with reserved stripe at level of exterior tongues.
Writing:   dipinto. Illegible or possibly meaningless dipinto in black to lt. of figure.
Material:   Fine clay fired pinkish-buff at surface, to salmon-pink at core, with rare voids, at least 1 angular black inclusion; clay not well compacted.
Munsell Color:   Near 7.5YR 7/5
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper part of body; base of neck.
