Description:   Small bowl or saucer with low flaring ring foot, narrow resting surface, from which underside of foot slants to undersurface, center depressed. Echinoid body with max. diam. at 00.019, inturned tapering lip.
Decoration:   Circumference groove on floor, D00.025. Metallic red slip over all, with darker drips on exterior.
Writing:   stamp. Two stamps set side by side on floor: both illegible in p.p.
Material:   Fine red-brown well-compacted clay with 2-3% very fine black inclusions, fewer sparkling and rare white rounded ones.
Munsell Color:   Clay: between 2.5YR 5/6 and 5YR 5/6 ; Slip: 2.5YR 4/6
Condition:   Three joining frgts., full profile; half foot, 1/4 body to lip. Of one stamp have portion of full length, of 2nd have heel.
