Description:   Plate with flaring ring foot, rounded resting surface, flat undersurface. Shallow wide-flaring body with very slight convex curve, horizontal outturned rim with convex profile, undercut on interior to project slightly over floor of plate.
Decoration:   Circumference groove on floor D00.045, three on rim. In center of floor 4 stamped palmettes placed around a central 5-pointed star, consisting of 5 strokes, separated by dots, with dot in center, all in a circle. Palmette stamps schematic with 7 petals of straight strokes. Rouletting on inner half of floor surrounding tondo. Dull metallic brown-black glaze unevenly applied over all, dip-glazed.
Material:   Fine clay fired buff to pale pinkish tan with rare fine black and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly more yellow than 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., complete profile; complete foot, ca. 1/8 floor, rim. Two chips in foot. Glaze worn.
