Description:   Skyphos with flaring ring foot, narrow angular resting surface, rounded undersurface. Echinoid body, max. diam. at H00.06-00.065, curving in to base of narrow rim with very slightly flaring profile, round lip. Two horizontal loop handles, tilted upward, set at max. diam. Identical with C 2002 039.
Decoration:   Undersurface and resting surface of foot reserved; remainder black glazed with reserved band in handle zone with reserved stripe on either side of broader zigzag band. Area between handle roots reserved. See Hesperia 1999, p. 94 W-13 (EG). Identical with C 2002 039.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare medium white and red inclusions and few voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., complete except for small hole in body, parts of rim chipped away; both handles preserved; glaze worn.
